Illustrator/ 2D Animator
Hi! My name is Golnoush, I’m an illustrator and 2D animator, and I have worked in both publishing and animation industry. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawing pretty much my whole life. I work with traditional (such as acrylic, pencil, watercolour, etc), digital, and sometimes a mix of both techniques. My art intends to present children’s world and their connection with adulthood. Storytelling is my passion, and I’m always fascinated by any new and inspiring artistic adventure.
I’ve been showcasing my work in several illustration exhibitions. I earned my MFA in Illustration from University of Tehran, and a BFA in handicrafts from Art University of Tehran. I pursued my studies in Canada and graduate in classical animation at Vancouver Film School.
I enjoy illustrating mostly for children’s book and making fantasy animations. I have experience in visual development, character, prop, and background design for game and animation. I’ve also done projects in package and editorial Illustration.
